Google's video conferencing app Google Meet (Google Meet) has been made free by Google a few days ago and the company has also benefited immediately. Within just 15 days of freeing the Google Meat app, the app's downloading has crossed the 50 million mark. Google Meet app was not free earlier. It could only be used by employees of the same company where G Suite is used, but on April 29, Google announced the release of the Meat app. The company then released an update on May 6. You can now access Google Meet with your Gmail ID.

In the new app, Google Meat was also made available to those who do not use G Suite. Since then, the app's downloading has crossed the 50 million mark on the Google Play Store. According to the report of AppBrain, in the first week of March, the download of Google Meat app was just 5 million, but in the next 20 days its downloading reached 10 million and now Google Meat has been downloaded 50 million times from Google Play Store. Google Meet has direct competition with Messenger Room and Zoom app. At the Google Meet, up to 250 people can hold video meetings simultaneously, while in the Facebook Messenger room, a maximum of 50 people can do video conferencing simultaneously. Messenger room support will soon be available on WhatsApp web.
