Google’s collab with Mongolia to bestow Chromebooks to all Students and Faculties

New Delhi:- Mongolia has a plan called Vision 2050 which aims to connect everyone and use technology in schools. Google is helping Mongolia to give every student and teacher access to online learning devices, such as Chromebooks.

Today, in Washington DC, it was announced that the Mongolian Prime Minister is visiting for diplomatic purposes and a partnership has been established. It begins when Google and the Mongolian government give 20,000 Chromebooks to schools in Mongolia.

The main goal is to give every student and teacher a Chromebook eventually. The company says that the devices can be shared, are safe, and have features that make them easier to use.

The country in Northern Asia has more than 3. 2 million people living there, according to a 2023 estimate. It is one of the countries with the lowest population density in the world. Google mentioned that one million Google for Education Workspace accounts are being used in that area.

In addition to the new devices, ChromeOS Flex will be used to update and make older Macs and PCs found in schools work better and last longer. These older devices are not receiving software updates anymore. This is expected to update many devices by replacing macOS and Windows with ChromeOS. After Google bought it in 2020, the Chromebook converter started in July of the same year.

Students will have something extra and nice because they can get 10,000 Level 1 and Level 2 Educator Certifications. These certifications will allow the first group of certified teachers to teach their colleagues how to use technology well.

Google is working with Mongolia to give students and teachers Chromebooks for their schools. These Chromebooks have some great features and will become a regular part of their school life.
