Amravati: In Andhra Pradesh, two new ministers have joined the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cabinet. In fact, Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan has administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopal Krishna and Sidiri Appal Raju as ministers at a brief function at Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada. At the same time, two posts in the state cabinet were vacated after Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Pilli Subhash Chandrabose and Minister Mopidevi Venkataraman Rao were resigned from the post of ministers.

Krishna and Raju belong to the backward Shetty Balija and fishermen community. Pilli Subhash Chandrabos and Mopidevi Venkataraman also come from these communities. As you may know, both were elected to the Legislative Assembly for the first time in the year 2019. In such a situation, Gopalakrishna represents the Ramachandrapuram constituency of East Godavari district. Raju is an MLA from Palasa seat in Srikakulam district. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Assembly Speaker Tamineni Sitaram, Ministers and officials participated in the recent program. After this, Venugopal Krishna and Sidiri Appal were distributed to Raju.

Gopalakrishna has been made the Minister of Animal Development, Dairy Development, Fisheries Department, Welfare of Backward Classes and Appal Raju. At the same time, changes have been made in the portfolios of some other ministers besides all these. Apart from this, some ministers have also been given promotions. Dharmana Krishnadas has been made Deputy Chief Minister. Five Deputy Chief Ministers have been appointed in such Andhra Pradesh.
