The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has asked the industry to hand over the list of all goods imported from China. These include industrial organizations to export promotion councils. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has given a week's time to the industry to hand over the list of imported sugar goods. According to sources, it will be clear from this list which items coming from China are important and which are non-essential. Non-essential items will be exercised immediately. For this, the increase in import duty or those items can be placed in the restricted list of imports.

For your information, let us tell you that non-essential items can include all those items, which do not affect the essential production and export of our country. After the system of stopping the non-essential things coming from China, the government will pay attention to the important things coming from China. First it will be explored whether alternative products for items coming from China are available in our country. If available, except Chinese goods, those items of the country will be asked to use them.

According to sources, the possibility of importing essential items from other countries can also be considered. In addition, the government will also work towards developing a manufacturing facility for the production of all the essential things coming from China in the country. The industry will also tell the government that which sugar items are absolutely indispensable for which industry and without their imports, work cannot be done.
