The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board has released the official notification for the recruitment of Special Teachers. A recruitment drive will be organized to fill 1598 vacancies. Out of this, 801 posts are for Physical Education Teacher, 365 posts for Arts Teacher, 341 posts for Craft Instructor (Sewing), and 91 posts for Music Teacher. Candidates who want to apply for this recruitment drive should go to the official portal and download the detailed notification and check the required details.

Important Dates:
Starting date for online application: 31 March 2021
Last date for online application: 25 April 2021

Selection Process:
A written examination will be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board for the selection of qualified candidates, in which the candidates will be called for document verification on the basis of performance. The written examination will be held on 27 August 2021. 2 hours 30 minutes time will be available for 95 MCQs in the written examination. Each question will be of 1 number.

Application fee:
To apply, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. The application fee for reserved category candidates is Rs 250.

Candidates applying for TRBTN Special Teacher Recruitment 2021 are required to pass the Higher Secondary (Class 12 or its equivalent) examination from a recognized board with at least 50 percent marks. See any other information in the candidate notification.
