In fact, it has been decided to launch this app due to the increasing security reasons with foreign apps like Facebook and WhatsApp. The GIMs app will also be encrypted end-to-end, although it will be for private chatting only, not for groups. It is being told that a few months ago, WhatsApp accounts of many people around the world including Indian social workers were spied. The same letter was written to the Government of India after that. WhatsApp itself said that people were spied through Pigasus software.
