Raipur: Three new awards are being started on the Rajyotsava organized on the foundation day of Chhattisgarh. Those working in the field of folk culture will receive this award. CM Bhupesh Baghel announced these awards on Dussehra. Sharing this information by tweeting, the Chief Minister said that the state government has decided to give 3 new awards on Rajyotsav to inspire new artists with the sadhana of seekers of folk culture. CM Bhupesh Baghel has heartily congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of unrighteousness, injustice and the 'Vijayadashmi' festival.
Sharing the information on social media, CM Bhupesh Baghel said that Laxman Masturia Award – Folkgeet, Khuman Sao Award – Folk Music and Mata Kaushalya Samman – will be given to the best Ramayana (Manas) troupe. At present, on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava, 35 honours are given in the name of many personalities, which include awards in the fields of social service, art, literature, sports, agriculture, industry, cinema, journalism, administration etc.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also announced two awards on 2 October. These awards will be given in memory of environmentalist Anupam Mishra and theatre artist Habib Tanveer. Anupam Mishra Award and an award in the name of popular theatre artist Habib Tanveer for theatre in Chhattisgarh will be given to the person and organization doing better work in the field of water recharging. These awards will be given with a huge event on November 1, the foundation day of Chhattisgarh.
