Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari's statement has created a ruckus across Maharashtra. While leaders of the Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP of the Uddhav camp are attacking him, the BJP also advised him not to make such a statement. Uddhav camp leader Sanjay Raut said that such anger has never been seen against any governor in the state. People are creating ruckus. The dignity of the governor's post in Maharashtra has ended as the BJP has made Raj Bhavan its party headquarters.

In fact, Governor Koshyari attended the convocation ceremony of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University located in Aurangabad. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar were conferred with D.Litt degrees. During this, Koshyari described Shivaji Maharaj as the ideal of the old era and Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Sharad Pawar as the ideals of the new era. Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that if someone asks you who is your ideal, you do not need to go out to find him, you will find him right here in Maharashtra. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a hero of the old era. Now in the new era, you will find everyone here from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar to Nitin Gadkari.

He said- 'Earlier when we used to study in school-college, we were asked who is your favorite hero, favorite leader? We used to speak Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru and Gandhiji. But I think if someone asks you who is your icon? Who is your favorite hero? So there is no need to go outside Maharashtra. You will find them in Maharashtra and 'Shivaji' is one of them, however, he is a hero of the older generation now. So let's talk about the new generation which you will find everyone here from Dr. Ambedkar to Dr. Gadkari i.e. Nitin Gadkari ji.
