Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satypal Malik Baba will visit Amarnath. Top officials of Jammu and Kashmir will also be present along with Governor Satypal Malik. After Amarnat's visit, Governor Satypal Malik will inspect the preparations and arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra along with top officials of the state. After which, devotees who reach the holy cave will be able to the lord.

Four batches have been rushed from the base camp of Jammu to Amarnath. The first batch of devotees left the base camp in Jammu on Sunday morning for Baltal and Pahalmag Base Camp. Both batches of passengers have reached Baltal and Pahalgam base camps on Sunday night. Two batches of devotees have been rushed to Alsubah Pahalgam and Baltal base camps on Monday.

According to the top official on the Amarnath Yatra, the first batch of devotees left the Jammu Base Camp for Baltal at around 4:50 a.m. on Sunday. A total of 1051 passengers were involved. The batch consisted of 793 men, 203 women, 10 children, 45 male sadhus and 1 female sadhu. He said, the second batch of 1183 pilgrims left the Jammu Base Camp for Pahalgam at around 5:10 am on Sunday morning.
