Moradabad: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the authorities at a review meeting on law and order in Moradabad district on Sunday, saying that each police station should prepare a list of top 10 offenders in its area. They should also act actively towards prosecution and punishment within the stipulated time frame.

CM Yogi said that the public starts believing in the police when a criminal is prosecuted. Therefore, the police should not only prosecute criminals but also make their sentence public. CM Yogi said during a review meeting of development and law and order in Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnore, Sambal and Amroha that the authorities have ordered to upgrade the technology to improve the monitoring and screening of offenders.

CM Yogi has said that better technology should be used to prevent criminals from committing crimes. No need to wait for the crime being committed by any offender. Identify it, thwart criminal activity. CM Yogi said that in view of the need to bring the crime rate in UP to our lowest level, we should increase foot patrolling.
