New Delhi: After the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the situation there is tense. Therefore, even after a month of the decision, the government is closely monitoring the situation in the state. The state is now in the hands of the governor due to the President's rule in the state. Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik called on PM Modi in Delhi yesterday. It is believed that he would have informed PM Modi about the security situation in the state. Normal life has been affected in the Kashmir Valley on the 45th day of the verdict.

The PMO tweeted saying, "Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik met PM Modi on Monday." Malik is believed to have briefed Modi about the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir. On August 5, the Central Government announced the abrogation of Article 370, dividing Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.

These two union territories, namely Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, will come into existence on 31 October. Security forces have relaxed restrictions in many parts of the valley, but normal life is not catching up due to the closure of business establishments and few vehicles leaving the road. Despite all the claims of the government, life in the valley does not appear to be normal.
