During this, he said, "I started my career at the age of 21. After 33 years, I had said goodbye to Bollywood. I have learned a lot in these 33 years. Many producers did not know me. I used to wait for hours for an interview with the producers. I knew why Bollywood people did not talk to me, but I never allowed this reason to hinder my work."

Govinda further said "I was rejected but I knew that Raj Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna and Jitendra would also have been denied in this way. After coming to Bollywood, it is important to have your objective clear because people talk about you in different ways. Even after doing good work, you do not get opportunities. I had talent so I got work. There was a time when every film was doing great at the box office. It is not so in today's time. Now only 4 to 5 people have occupied the entire industry, who are making progress in this business. They only give opportunities to those who are close to them. Everything is in the hands of these people. This is the reason why some of my films were not even released properly."

While talking about Nepotism he said "I never talked much about my daughter Tina Ahuja. If I had also made a statement, perhaps the situation would have been different. My daughter wants to make her career herself. Today she is failing, one day she will get to taste success too."
