New Delhi: The coronavirus is wreaking havoc once again. The Union Home Ministry has now issued a new guideline from December 1 to December 31. Recently, given the latest guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, states have been asked to strictly implement infection prevention measures, control congestion. Not only this, but this time the focus of the government is being seen to control the crowd. The new guidelines that the government has issued will start from December 1 and will remain in force till December 31.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the States / Union Territories to strictly take measures to prevent the coronavirus. Instructions have also been given to take mandatory measures to control SOP and congestion on many activities. The government has given complete relaxation to the state governments for the decision to impose the night curfew. The Ministry of Home Affairs says, only necessary activities are allowed in the Containment Zone. Local district, police and municipal officials will be responsible for ensuring that the prescribed containment measures are strictly followed. The State / Union Territory Government will ensure the accountability of the officials concerned.
The Union Home Ministry has said in a recently released statement that, based on its assessment of the status of Covid-19, states, UTs can only impose local restrictions like nighttime curfews in prohibited areas. States, UTs governments will have to seek permission from the Center before any type of local lockdown can be implemented outside the prohibited areas. If the new guidelines are followed, restrictions are on regarding cinema houses, theatres, swimming pools etc.
