New Delhi: The ongoing confrontation between the central government and farmer organizations over new agricultural laws is not taking its name. Farmers' organizations are adamant on repealing agricultural laws, while the government is repeatedly asking for a solution through negotiations. Meanwhile, the government has invited the farmers' organizations for talks once again on 30 December.

In a letter written to the farmers 'organizations on behalf of the government, it has been said that it has been conveyed by you (the farmer) that the farmers' organizations have always been and will always be ready to communicate with an open mind. The Government of India is also committed to resolving relevant issues with clear intent and an open mind. The letter further states that "You are requested to take part in this meeting for resolution with the Union Ministerial Committee at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on December 30 at 2 pm." The government has written this letter to the leaders of 40 farmer organizations.

Earlier on 29 December, the farmers' organizations had sent a proposal for talks to the government. The letter, taken by farmer organizations, said that the talks would be based on four agendas. The first issue was the withdrawal of agricultural laws. At the same time, the farmers had also announced the roadmap to intensify their movement.
