The actress was born in Delhi on 20 July 1980. Her parents wanted her daughter to become a doctor or engineer, but Gracie wanted to become a classical dancer. She has trained in Bharatanatyam and Odissi Dancer. Due to this, when her screen test was taken for the movie 'Lagaan', the actress was asked to dance to the song 'Hothon Pe Aisi Baat'. She got many movies offered due to her dance talent and acting. When Gracie got the opportunity to become an actress in the movie 'Lagaan', she was so engrossed in that character that she did not even talk to the people around her on the shoot. The actress made a tremendous entry into the Hindi cinema world, but gradually her career came to a halt on B-grade films and television. After this Gracie soon left the Bollywood industry.
The actress Gracie acted in Prakash Jha's movie 'Gangajal' with actor Ajay Devgn, but her character in the movie was very small, which she had to suffer.
