necessary ingredients :
16 tablespoons Ghee
1/2 cup semolina
1/2 cup flour
1 cup gram flour
Powdered sugar to taste
1 tsp cardamom seeds
1/4 cup silver almonds
Preparation method:
First heat 4 tablespoons of ghee in a pan, add semolina and fry till it becomes light brown and keep it aside. Then heat 4 tablespoons ghee in another pan, add flour and fry it till it becomes light brown and keep it aside. Now heat 7-8 tablespoons of ghee in another pan, add gram flour and fry till it becomes light brown and keep aside. Then mix the cooked semolina, flour and gram flour with almonds, sugar and cardamom seeds. Now let it cool for 10 minutes and then make small balls from it. Note: Remember the mixture can be crumbly, so instead of making a round of palms to make laddus, you can press them only to give them a round shape. You should not be afraid to use ghee while making laddus. Laddoo is a dessert from which you are not making a diet salad.
