GRAP Yellow Alert implemented in Delhi due to Omicron

New Delhi: Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government has taken a major decision in view of the threat of new and dangerous variant Omicron of corona virus. GRAP the graded response action plan has been implemented in Delhi. In Delhi, yellow alert (GRAP Yellow Alert) has now been issued. Under which a number of restrictions will be applicable. State that a total of 653 cases of Omicron have been registered across the country. Out of this, 165 cases are in Delhi alone.

Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government had prepared a GRAP in July 2021 to take on the third wave of corona. Under this, things were fixed on when there will be lockdown in Delhi, when it will remain closed and when it will open. The restrictions imposed under the GRAP have an impact on schools, metros, bus services as well as gyms, banquet halls.

Tell us that cinema, multiplexes, theatres, conference rooms, banquet halls, spas and wellness clinics, yoga institutes and gyms will be closed along with educational institutions on the issue of yellow alert. At the same time, all public transport services including Metro will run at 50% capacity. As per odd-even rules in Delhi, shops and malls with unnecessary services or goods will be opened from 10 am to 8 pm.  Only 2 passengers will be allowed to travel in autos, e-rickshaws, taxis and cycle rickshaws.  Religious places will remain open but entry of devotees will berestricted.
