Green Apple and Blueberry Salad recipe is a unique blend of strawberries, tangy blueberries, and green apples mixed with fresh healthy lettuce, topped up with lemon juice and alluring caramelized walnuts!
Ingredients of Green Apple and Blueberry Salad
3 cup cut into strips lettuce leaf
1/4 cup blueberry
3 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1 pinch salt
2 cup cubed green apple
1/4 cup chopped strawberry
3 tablespoon sugar
For Dressing
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon powdered white pepper powder
2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
2 teaspoon chilli flakes
How to make Green Apple and Blueberry Salad
Step 1
For preparing the caramelized walnuts, pour 2 tbsp of water in a small broad non-stick pan. Heat it on low flame and add sugar. Mix it well to dissolve the sugar and cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Make sure to stir the mixture occasionally.
Step 2
Now add the chopped walnuts. Mix it well. Cook the mixture on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Make sure the sugar coats the walnuts evenly. Keep it aside to cool completely.
Step 3
Take a deep bowl and get ready to combine all the ingredients. Add lettuce leaves, green apple cubes, blueberries and strawberries. Sprinkle a pinch of salt. Toss it well.
Step 4
Add the caramelized walnuts. Pour lemon juice and olive oil. Mix it well. Spice it up with white pepper and chili flakes. Toss your salad well. Serve immediately.
