Ahmedabad-based startup Greenvolt Mobility is building an electric two-wheeler in modern India and the company has also launched its first electric moped Mantis. The most special thing about this bike is that neither license is required nor it needs to be registered to run it. The initial ex-showroom price of Mantis is Rs. 34,999. The company has started pre-booking of Mantis. If you want to book it, you can book by paying only 999 rupees.

Mantis looks like an electric bicycle, whose frame looks like, it has got mottay tires and a comfortable seat. Not like a bicycle, paddles are used in Mantis for power supply to the rear wheel. It has an LED headlight, a full-digital instrument console and disc brakes on both sides.

This bike has a 250 watt electric motor with a top speed of 250kmph. Lithium-ion battery pack with lightweight has been used in it, due to which it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. Once full charged, it can travel up to 50 km. Greenvolt says that once full charge, it only costs 5 rupees.
