Famous sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created sand sculptures on the formation of Puri Beach of Odisha to give best wishes to the newly married power couple Virat-Anushka (Virushka). The wedding took place at a Italy resort named Borgo Finocchieto, one of the most expensive holiday properties in the world. The property is located in a small village called Bibbiano - having a population of fewer than 100 people.

A host of photographs and video clips from the party, which was headed by a mehendi and engagement ceremony, recommend the decor was minimalistic and sophisticated.
