Cat’s out of the closet! Kate Walsh recently revealed the secret. During an Instagram Live she held with actress Amy Brenneman to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their old program, Private Practice, the Grey's Anatomy star unintentionally revealed that she and boyfriend Andrew Nixon were engaged.
In the video from October 5, Kate, 54, said, "Here comes the jungle cat, there is my fiancé," as she moved the camera to Andrew, who waved and grinned. Amy noticed the leak and said, "She just outed your engagement 100%." Andrew exclaimed, "Aww," to which Kate answered, "I did, I just revealed our engagement."

The 13 Reasons Why actress kissed her fiancé and showed her enormous diamond ring on TV during the Live. Later, Kate shared a picture of two martini glasses with the comment, "Celebrating with w/@andynix1!!" on her Instagram Stories.
Kate, who cohabitates with Andrew in Perth, Australia, has been discreet about their relationship, although she has been connected to the farmer ever since the COVID-19 outbreak began, after allegedly meeting him on a cruise.

Kate will be walking down the aisle for the second time. In front of about 100 guests, including her Grey's Anatomy co-star Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez, and Justin Chambers, she wed producer Alex Young in September 2007.
According to NBC Washington, Alex and Kate filed for divorce after only 15 months of marriage, claiming their irreconcilable differences. The former couple stated that they will "stay on amicable terms and truly hope the public will respect their privacy during this difficult time" in a joint statement provided to Access Hollywood in 2008. The divorce between Kate and Alex was finalised in 2010.
