Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is all set to step into the shoes of mathematician Anand Kumar in his biopic which has been titled Super 30. The movie will be helmed by Vikas Bahl. The leading lady for the movie has yet to be announced and there were reports suggesting that Katrina Kaif might star in the movie as pictures surfaced of the actress having a meeting with Hrithik and Anand. However, according to a leading daily, Mrunal Thakur may star in Super 30 and play Hrithik's wife in the film. For the uninitiated, Mrunal shot to fame with her stint Kumkum Bhagya as Bulbul. Interestingly, Mrunal has turned down movies like Sultan and Thugs of Hindostan.

Meanwhile, for the uninitiated, Anand Kumar trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for the most prestigious exams of IIT each year with commendable success rate. Anand had earlier confirmed that Hrithik had been finalised to play him in Super 30. Anand stated to a leading tabloid, "I am happy that Hrithik will play me because he is the best choice for the role. His dedication towards his work and the kind of versatility he exhibits as an actor is very inspiring. Being a rooted and passionate person myself, I feel that he will bring an emotional depth to my life on screen. I am excited to see Hrithik as Anand Kumar essaying my emotional journey."

Super 30 is slated to release on November 23, 2018. Hrithik will also be starring in Siddharth Anand's next which will see the actor collaborate with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor for the first time. Produced by YRF, Hrithik and Tiger's movie is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
