GANDHINAGAR:  Is there splinter in new Vijay Rupani-led government in Gujarat? As in a temper deputy, CM Nitin Patel stays away from party office

 Newly initiated Vijay Rupani-led government indicates Signs of dissatisfaction as deputy chief minister Nitin Patel, who went through the humiliation of being stripped off three major portfolios which are finance, urban development, and petroleum - did not grant office in the Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar on Friday whereas several ministers took charge.

There are rumors that Patel, who was reduced in importance to the post of deputy CM at the eleventh hour instead of the top post in 2016, is in no frame of mind to put up with another humiliation. Patel, who is learned to have made demands for finance and urban development portfolios this time also, feels he is being criticized as per to a close supporter.

The Dy CM, who had made his discontentment known to the top management over major portfolios being taken away from him on Thursday, was said that his objection would be set on in two days. Patel is immovable that if his person in charge does not keep their word, he will give up on the grounds that his self-respect is being upset said a top source close to this drive.
