Ahmedabad: A case of 3 Pakistani nationals taking Citizenship of India using fake papers has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to media reports, the three Pakistani nationals managed to make their names in the voter list of the Naroda assembly constituency.

According to reports, the trio was living in the Kubernagar area of Ahmedabad. A complaint in this regard has been registered at Meghaninagar police station. The three Pakistani nationals have been identified as Mahesh Parpiyani, Suresh Parpiyani, and Haresh Parpiyani. According to the information furnished by election officer Chetan Gandhi, the Election Commission had received a written complaint against the three Pakistani nationals regarding obtaining citizenship of India through forged documents.

After receiving the complaint, an inquiry was conducted which revealed that all three are not Indian nationals. Police said that a complaint has been received in the case and appropriate legal action will be taken against the accused soon.
