Mumbai bomb blasts: Halari Musa killer of 260 people arrested, was involved in drugs smuggling

Mumbai: Munaf Halari Musa, accused in the 1993 bomb blasts and drug trafficking in the country's financial capital Mumbai, was arrested by the Mumbai ATS on Monday from the Mumbai airport. Munaf was also involved in smuggling drugs worth Rs 1,500 crore. Which was busted last year.

Giving information, a Gujarat ATS official has said that the accused Munaf has been arrested as soon as he arrives at Mumbai International Airport in the morning. He was on the radar of Gujarat ATS since last year in connection with a connection with a drug trafficking gang. He has told that Halari Musa is an accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, in which 260 people died and more than 700 people were injured.

Giving information, an official said that after the blasts, he fled the country to South Africa. He said that he was on the target of ATS for his alleged role in a case of transporting drugs to Gujarat. The official said that the Gujarat ATS is investigating his role in the narcotics case, a big disclosure could be made soon and some other names may also be revealed.
