Ahmedabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback in Gujarat. Lok Sabha MP from the Bharuch parliamentary seat Mansukh Vasava has resigned from the party. It is said to resign from the membership of Parliament soon. BJP MP from Bharuch Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava has written a letter to the state BJP unit president CR Patil on December 28 about his decision. For what reason did Mansuva Vasava resign, it has not been completely cleared yet.
In a letter sent to the state BJP president, Mansukh Vasava has said that he has worked with full integrity for the party. Great care is taken in following the principle of party and life, but ultimately I am a human being and a human being makes mistakes. That is why I resign from the party. Vasava also said that before the Lok Sabha session starts, he will resign from the post of MP.
Mansukh Vasava has been in discussions recently about his statements. In writing a letter to Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, Vasava said that tribal women are being trafficked in Gujarat. He also sent a letter to PM Modi regarding the Statue of Unity.
