BJP Vice President of the district Shailesh Patel along with his family had reached Shiva temple for morning darshan. When he was returning from here after darshan, at the same time four people riding a bike fired at Shailesh Patel and killed him.
After firing four rounds, the killers escaped from the spot. It is believed that this murder has been carried out due to old enmity. At the time when Shailesh Patel was murdered, his family was also with him. However, the family has now refused to cremate the body. The family says that until justice is done in this whole matter and the accused are not arrested, they will not cremate the dead body.

According to the information, Shailesh Patel used to visit the Shiva temple every Monday with his wife. Today around 7.15 am, he reached the Shiva temple with his wife. At the time when the accused carried out the incident, Shailesh Patel was sitting in the car waiting for his wife to come. Meanwhile, suddenly a person reached him. Before Shailesh could understand anything, a bike came near him. The accused in it fired four rounds at Shailesh, due to which he died on the spot.
