New Delhi: The country's Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar praised the Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud during his visit to Britain. The Vice President said that the courts of the country were sensitive to the problems of the people and were headed by a talented person. Dhankhar said in Britain on Saturday (May 6, 2023), 'Where else is the judiciary involved like India? At present we have an enlightened soul as the Chief Justice of India. A person who has experience, commitment and passion. Look at his orders, from which even a common man does not take any time to get relief.' 

Vice President Dhankhar further said, 'We now have an ecosystem in India. You can be anyone, but you are answerable to the law. No one is beyond the reach of law and no one can be abused because we have a strong judicial system. And this time, the judicial system is headed by a person who deserves it in every respect.'

Let us tell you that Vice President Dhankhar was addressing the members of the Indian diaspora in London. However, some time ago, Vice President Dhankhar came into limelight for his statement on the apex court. He had commented on the repeal of the NJAC Act in 2015 by the apex court. He had said that this has not happened anywhere in the world. He said that it is not right for democracy to invalidate the law made by the Parliament by any other institution.
