Ahmedabad: Preparations are on for the by-election in Gujarat amidst Bihar assembly elections. Meanwhile, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani targeted the Congress and said where you had gone at the time of the corona epidemic and lockdown when the BJP leaders were working among the masses, the Congress MLA was enjoying liquor in a resort in Jaipur.

In Gujarat, by-elections are proposed in 8 assembly constituencies and both the major parties, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress are campaigning for the same. Star campaigners from the Congress and the BJP have also been in the fray for the campaign. CM Vijay Rupani arrived in Kutch on Thursday to seek votes for BJP candidate Pradyumn Singh Jadeja. CM Rupani, while delivering a speech in Kachchi language, urged the public to contest the election to Prayumna Singh.

Meanwhile, he also targeted Congress. He said that in difficult times like corona and lockdown when BJP leaders were working among the masses, Congress MLAs were enjoying liquor in a resort in Jaipur. CM Vijay Rupani challenged the Congress from the podium and said, "When a Congress leader comes to you to seek votes, ask him, ' Where did you all flee in the corona? They don't tell you that they all fled to Jaipur."
