AHMEDABAD: Garba and Dandiya have started raging in many parts of the country as soon as Navratri starts. In many states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, this festival is being celebrated with pomp.

On the one hand, while the goddess pandals have started decorating in West Bengal in the east of the country, the glimpses of nine days of beauty have started appearing in Gujarat in the west. Somewhere people are engaged in the preparations of Garba dance whereas at some places the excitement for Durga Puja is seen.

Garba and Dandiya are being organized in many cities including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Vadodara in Gujarat.
