JAMMU: Central Government is tremendous desperate terrorists after elimination of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. But due to tight security arrangements by the security forces, they are not able to carry out any nefarious act. Now they have taken a new route to spoil the atmosphere of the valley. Terrorists are trying to intimidate people by posting threatening posters in Jammu. These posters have been placed in Mendhar and its surroundings in Poonch district. Police has registered a case in this regard and started the investigation.

Such threatening posters have come up in Poonch district after more than a decade. These posters, named as the Al-Badr Mujahideen terrorist organization, have been installed on walls and electric poles in two areas of Mendhar town. People have been threatened through posters to keep the markets closed, not to drive passenger vehicles. Apart from this, security forces have been asked to maintain distance. Shopkeepers have been asked to keep their business establishments closed.

Threats have been written in the posters that anyone who ignores this decree will have to bear the consequences. After the matter of posters and threats came to light, officers of the security agencies and police personnel reached the spot and the posters were confiscated. Along with this, the broadband service running in the area was also stopped. DIG of Rajouri-Poonch range, Vivek Gupta said that the case is being investigated by Mendhar police. Earlier security agencies have received information about a large number of militants in Kashmir. The army has been alerted about this.
