Apart from this, the government has also said, "People will no longer need any administrative permission for worship within their society. Permission will be required for idol installation and public worship in public places. Earlier it was made mandatory to get permission for all such programs. ''

In the recently released guidelines for Navratri, the Gujarat government has said, "Garba dances will not be allowed to be held anywhere." Minister of State for Home Pradeep Singh Jadeja defended the government, saying, 'It is not the decision of the state government to keep the temple closed. This decision has been taken by the temple trusts. ' In his further conversation, the Minister of State for Home Affairs said, "All the temples of the state have been opened for devotees since June 7."
