Ahmedabad: The cases of COVID19 is increasing rapidly at this time. Meanwhile, the number of infected is also increasing day by day. Now the lockdown has also been lifted and in the meantime, there is a plan to open schools again. Now according to the information received, classes from 9 to 12 will not open in Gujarat from September 21. State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said on Wednesday that, "In view of the Covid-19, the Gujarat government has not decided to reopen secondary and higher secondary schools from September 21".

Apart from this, the education minister also said that "During the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar, the state government has taken this decision in the interest of students". In the past, the Central Government has given permission to open schools from class 9 to 12 from September 21 under Unlock-4, but this will not happen in Gujarat.

The Gujarat government has categorically denied this. Talking about this, Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that, announcing the 'Unlock-4' guidelines earlier this month, the Center had made it clear that schools for classes 9 to 12 will start from September 21 The final decision to reopen will be taken by the respective states. According to the Central SOP, students can go to schools from September 21 to seek guidance from teachers with the permission of their parents."
