The Gujarat High Court is hearing a petition seeking disqualification of Alpesh Thakor and meanwhile, Alpesh Thakor has filed an affidavit in the Gujarat High Court claiming that he has not yet resigned from the Congress and that he (Alpesh) is still a member of the Congress.

Alpesh Thakor said the resignation, which went viral on social media, should not be treated as official. The notice was issued by the High Court on the Congress' plea seeking the removal of Alpesh from the post of MLA.

According to information, Alpesh resigned from the post of Congress in April and his resignation by Alpesh Thakor was written that my life is associated with social service and I am also associated with the ideology of my society and the poor in politics.
