Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2018 application process for the post of Stenographer has started today on the official website of Gujarat High Court – hc-ojas.guj.nic.in. According to the official notification, Gujarat High Court is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill 76 English and Gujarati stenographer posts. The selection of the applicants will be based on a varied tests .The selected candidates will be placed in Grade-II.  All Interested candidates can apply online on and before 31st December 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualifications:

English Stenographer Grade-II – The candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. She/he must have a 120 words per minute speed in English shorthand.

The candidate should have basic computer knowledge, and must possess sufficient knowledge of languages such as English, Gujarati & Hindi.

For Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II – The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent and She/he must have 90 words per minute speed in Gujarati shorthand.

The applicant should have basic computer knowledge and must be proficient in English, Gujarati & Hindi.

Age-Limit:

The candidate must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 40 years as on 31st December 2018. The Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below.

Selection Process: Applicants will be selected on the basis of performance in Stenography/Skill test and Viva-voice test.

Pay Scale:

For English Stenographer Grade-II as well as Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II post, the selected candidates will be offered the pay scale of Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400/- per month.
