Surat: A sensational case of gang rape of a minor girl has come to light from Surat in Gujarat. In this case, the accused is said to be the brother (not by blood) of the victim's. First, he forcibly put vermilion on the forehead of the girl and then along with his friends, he committed gang rape. The victim has lodged a case of gang rape against the three accused at the Dindoli police station in Surat.
It is being told that the victim's parents wanted to get her married along with the accused. But she was not ready for it and complained to the police. The minor told the police that she wanted to become something by reading and writing. To avoid marriage, she had fled to Surat one and a half years ago with a young man who was familiar with her uncle. Since then she had made the accused a brother by his own. Then suddenly the brother filled vermilion in the forehead of the minor and started raping her by making his wife.
The victim has alleged that the youth handed her over to his friends where everyone along with him in an empty house committed the gang rape. The victim also alleged that she had lodged a police complaint earlier. But the police did not take any action and the Dindoli police station has taken the three accused into custody and started investigating the case. Under the Corona guidelines, medical tests of the three are being conducted and further action will be taken after the test report comes.
