Patna:  A very strange case has come to light from Sitamarhi in Bihar. Where some anti-social elements put a mask on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Surprisingly, there is always police duty at Gandhi Chowk, even after this incident happened. The police is now investigating the matter and is claiming to arrest the accused soon.

On Thursday, Youth Congress District President Mohd. Someone called Shams Shahnawaz and informed about this matter. After this, when he reached Gandhi Chowk, he was stunned to see this. He immediately informed about this to the District Magistrate and Municipal Corporation officer Mumukshu Chaudhary. Mo. Shams Shahnawaz told that some mischievous elements have insulted Mahatma Gandhi by wearing a mask to the Gandhi statue built in the middle of the city on the afternoon of 26 January.

After which the photo of Gandhi statue was sent to DM Sitamarhi Sunil Kumar Yadav and Municipal Council Commissioner Mumukshu Kumar Chaudhary for information and appropriate action. Shams said that the responsibility of protecting the Gandhi statue rests with the district administration. Strict arrangements are needed for this. So that such incident does not happen in future.
