AHMEDABAD: Protests are continuing across the country regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Opposition parties are protesting that this law is against the constitution. Amidst all these protests, a woman from Pakistan in Gujarat has been granted citizenship of India. Hasina Ben, who returned to India from Pakistan and came to India, applied for citizenship of India two years ago.

After which she has now been granted citizenship by the Government of India. Hasina Ben was originally from India. But after marriage in 1999, she moved to Pakistan. Her husband died while living in Pakistan, after which she decided to return to India. Two years ago, Hasina applied for citizenship of India.

Now on December 18, 2019, he has been granted a certificate of Indian citizenship by the Government of India. Hasina Ben in Dwarka district of Gujarat wrote a letter to the Collector seeking Indian citizenship. Hasina Ben was awarded the Certificate of Indian Citizenship on behalf of Dwarka Collector Dr. Narendra Kumar Meena. Let me tell you that the maximum opposition to this law is being held that it does not include the people of the Muslim community in the list of refugees, in such a way, the granting of citizenship to Hasina Ben raises questions in many minds.
