Gul Panag, the actress and politician has destined the thread of assaults on African nationals in New Delhi, as she saying the incident "matter of shame".

There has been an epidemic of assaults on African nationals in the last few days counting killing of a Congolese youth in the national capital.

Gul posted in Twitter, "The recent incidents against Africans in Delhi are a matter of shame for us as a society, but also a test of our law and order machinery,”

Gul, who is Aam Admi Party member and former Miss India said, "Let's not forget what our founding fathers said in the Constitution. The Indian state will battle and reform society's worst impulses.”
