New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi made a big announcement on Sunday on the occasion of 'Guru Parv', the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He said that 'Veer Baal Diwas' would be celebrated every year on 26th December. It will be a suitable tribute to the courage of the Sahibzade and their quest for justice. Prime Minister Modi announced the celebration of Veer Baal Diwas by tweeting. The Prime Minister said, 'Today, on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, I am proud to state that from this year 26th December will be celebrated as 'Veer Baal Divas.' It will be a proper tribute to the courage of Sahibzade.'
Mata Gujri, Guru Gobind Singh and Sahibzade Idols of Valor:- The Prime Minister said, 'The valour and ideals of Mata Gujri, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Sahibzada give strength to millions of people. He never bowed before injustice. He envisioned a world that was inclusive and harmonious. It is the need of the hour to inform more and more people about them.'
