Chandigarh: Meat shops in Gurugram, Haryana will now remain closed on Tuesday. In Nagar Nigam's meeting discussions are made arrordingly. Ward No. 23 councilor Ashwani Sharma had recommended that meat and chicken shops be closed. The municipal corporation, citing the rule, ordered the closure of the meat shop one day, in which everyone has to keep their shops closed one day a week.

At the same time, the municipal corporation has increased the meat license fee from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 and the amount of challan levied on unauthorized meat sellers has been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 5000. In addition, it has been decided to seal the respective meat shop on 3 times the challan. The municipal meeting decided that if someone opens the seal shop, the case will be filed against him. The meeting also decided to close the meat shops every Tuesday.

MCG Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh's right to eat is a personal issue, nobody should raise these kinds of issues, you can be sure to close meat shops on Tuesday, in my opinion, it's a personal choice, I eat meat, but my wife doesn't eat I don't force her, and she doesn't force me.
