Gwalior: Crime cases are on the rise nowadays. The recent case that has come to light is that of Gwalior. Here the girl has been blackmailed in the name of modeling after trapping her in the trap of her words through social media. Gwalior police reportedly strategized and summoned the accused to Gwalior and then arrested him. The accused has now been sent to jail in the case. However, even before the arrest, the accused had uploaded edited videos of the girl on the internet.

In this case, a girl living in the Hazira police station area has registered a case of cheating against Ravi Kiran Desai, a resident of Satara in Maharashtra. Police sources said that the girl said in her complaint that "she met Ravi Kiran Desai through social media.'' She further explained, 'While chatting, Desai praised her beauty and inspired her to model. She also said that she has a very good contact in Bollywood.' The same girl further said that when she started believing in him, she started talking on video calls through a mobile application.

Meanwhile, he recorded the girl's video and edited and made her video objectionable. The accused then started blackmailing the girl. The girl said in her complaint, "The accused had demanded Rs. 500000 from me. He had also threatened to upload the edited video on the Internet for not paying the money. I gave him Rs. 20,000 and asked him to delete the video but he uploaded my videos on the Internet. After all this, the girl told her family the whole thing. The family then immediately approached the police and sought help. Police have now planned and arrested the accused.
