Alwar: A woman BJP worker from Alwar, Charul Agarwal, has been threatened for her comments on Facebook about the Gyanvapi mosque case in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Charul has been threatened with a Udaipur-like incident. The women activists live in Tower No. 3 in Alwar's Shalimar Awas Yojana Extension.
At 7.45 am on Monday, Charul Agarwal came out of the flat to drop the children to school and found a letter near the window. BJP leader Charul Aggarwal told about this, ''It was written with my name in it that will do 56 pieces, will do a condition like Udaipur, threatened to kill me, I had put a general post about Gyanvapi. We have two children and a husband, we are from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, and have been living in Alwar for 6 years. On September 13, Charul posted a post on Facebook about Gyanvapi. Thereafter, on 19 September she received death threats and 25 September was given as the last date. Her husband Jitendra Agarwal used to work in Matsya Industrial Area. Recently he started a startup by putting a factory. Charul has been associated with the BJP for three years. She is in BJP's 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.' She is the state co-convener of the campaign. After the incident, Charul Aggarwal informed SP Tejaswini Gautam and demanded security. Sadar Police is investigating on the basis of footage obtained from CCTV and registered a case.
