Jalandhar: The double murder in Jalandhar, Punjab caused a sensation. The specially-abled mother-son was brutally murdered in Aliwal, a village in Lohia Khas. It is being told that the elderly woman could not speak, while the young man was unable to walk. The dead body of the young man was found in the field at some distance from the house, while the woman's body was lying in the house itself. Sensation has spread in the area due to this double murder.

On information, the police have taken the dead bodies and taken them for postmortem. In the preliminary investigation, the possibility of robbery is being behind the murder. It seems that only a knowledgeable person is behind this. Police investigating the case say that no weapon has been recovered from the spot at the moment. The reason behind the murder can be due to theft. So far no reason has been revealed. The villagers told that the deceased Mangat Ram used to graze the goats of a person from the village, while the mother used to live by demanding from the area near Kartari village.

She had also demanded Lohri on Tuesday. The robbers killed the mother-son by greed for some money. Police say that this double murder is being investigated in depth. The killers will be arrested soon. Only after the post-mortem report comes, the exact reasons for the murder will be known.
