Lord hanuman popularly known as Bajrangbali is one of the most woshiped gods in India. Vayu putra Hanuman is the Ishta dev of most Hindu people. Hanuman is one of the few gods in hindu mythology who devotees consider as their friend. The amount of trust people have in Lord Hanuman is incomparable. He is also one of the central characters of great epic Ramayana and is also mentioned in Mahabharata. Bajrangbali is said to be an Avatar of Lord Shiva.

It is said that once there was a king named Dasaratha of Ayodhya, was performing a religious yagna (ritual) to have children who was blessed with his three wives. And Vayu, the Wind God, under the instruction of Lord Shiva carried a portion of the sweet pudding, gave it to Anjana and blessed her. Anjana soon ate the divine sweet and instantly she could feel the blessing of Shiva. Vayu told her that she will soon be a mother of a son who will possess intelligence, courage, tremendous strength, speed and the power to fly. Her happiness had no ends and she was over-whelmed with joy. Soon she gave birth to Lord Hanuman.

In his childhood Lord Hnuman decided to have mangos and his eyes fell on sun. Thinking sun is a fruit Hanuman jumped on to have sun. Scared Lord Indra thought that if Hanuman consumes sun there will be no source of life on earth and so he threw his most powerful vepon Vajra on hanuman. Since Hanuman was the son of Vayu (god of air) he got angry and stopped the wind flow on earth. Seeing how angry Lord Vayu was each and every god gave his blessings to Hanuman and so Lord Brahma gave Hanuman the boon for immortality and so he is also one of the seven Chiranjivis. Since Lord Hanuman is a Chiranjeevi it is said that he is still on earth and meditating in Gandhamadan Mountain.

It is said that according to a promise, Lord Hanuman comes to meet the people of Mathang tribe after every 41 years. When Hanuman Ji comes to meet the people of the Mathang tribe, he gives divine knowledge to them. People of this tribe are completely off touch with normal people.

Hanumanji is the god of devotion, power, strength and knowledge. His devotion for Lord Shree Ram is popularly known. It is said that he is the true and biggest devotee of Lord Ram. It is believed that Lord Hanuman still visits and listen Sundarkand and Ramayan.
