Indian tennis team veteran Divij Sharan is celebrating his 34th birthday today. Divij Saran (born 2 March 1986), from Delhi, is an Indian professional tennis player. He won a gold medal in men's doubles in lawn tennis, Asian Games-2018. He specializes in doubles and competitions in the ATP World Tour. He has 3 ATP World Tour level titles in men's doubles. He represents India in the Davis Cup.
Personal life: Divij Saran was born in New Delhi. He started playing tennis at the age of seven at a local tennis academy. Her favorite surfaces are grass and hard courts. His overall favorite shot is a volley. His effigies were growing up Roger Federer, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes. Divij has said that if he had not become a tennis player, he would have preferred to become an executive of the company.
Career: Divij changed in the year 2004. He had limited success in singles and developed into a doubles specialist. He won his first Futures Doubles title in the year 2007. He reached his first doubles ATP Challenger final in 2010 in Kyoto Challenger, Japan. He won his first doubles ATP Challenger title in September 2011 in Ningbo Challenger, China. He continued to succeed in doubles at ITF and Challengers events. By the end of 2011, he had won 16 ITF titles and 1 ATP Challenger title.
