Indian badminton player Tasneem Mir entered the women's singles quarter-finals on Saturday, 29 February 2020 with a stunning victory over Dutch top seed Benyapa Amsard in Dutch Junior.

According to media reports, Tasneem, who won gold medals in the Asia Junior Badminton Championship and Dubai competition last year, upset the world number 132, in a thrilling 45-minute match.

For your information, let us tell you that Tasneem defeated Benyapa from 21-9 17-21 21-15. Where now Tasneem will face the winner of the match between compatriot Trisha and Ayesha Gulah Maheshwari of Indonesia. In men's singles final 16, Rohan Gurbani was defeated by Russia's Jarji Lebedov 18-21 21-19 21-18.
