Today is the birthday of famous playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK, who ruled the hearts of millions of people with his singing. He was born on 23 August 1970 in Kerala. KK grew up in Delhi and his education was also done at Mount St. Mary's School in Delhi. KK initially dreamed of becoming a doctor, but luck had something else and became a singer. KK has sung many songs in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films in his career till date. He sang the song for the first time when he was in the second class. He was strongly influenced by Kishore Kumar and RD Burman. KK also formed a rock band with his friends during his college time under which he used to sing.

After finishing his college, he worked as a marketing executive in a hotel in Delhi. But within a few months, he got bored of this job and set out on a trip to Mumbai. In 1994, KK gave his demo tapes to Louis Banco, Ranjit Barot, Shiva Mathur and Leslie Lewis to give them a break in the field of music. His career began in 1994, the day his son Nakula was born, and on that day he sang a song for an advertisement.

In the early days of his career, he has given voice in more than 3500 advertisements in 11 Indian languages for advertisement. In Bollywood, he has given his voice in many superhit songs so far. He has sung more than 250 Hindi songs. Apart from Hindi, KK has also sung many superhit songs in Tamil, Telugu. In Bollywood, he got recognition from the song 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' from the song 'Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se ...'. Today we wish him all the best on his 52nd birthday and hope that in the coming time, KK will continue to spread the same magic with his voice.
