- Once having a interview with Anu Kapoor in a radio show Shammi Kapoor's son had said that " My dad wants to buy a 'Duke' car but unforunately he did't get it because of some money issues, but later he took the car from an Irani producer by a down payment and it was his fav. car."

- Before Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor is the one who became the first to enter in 'Prithivi Theatres'

- Shammi Kapoor's love of life was actorss ' Mumtaz' but due to some resaons, they did't get married.

- Shammi Kapoor is very much found of suffering the Internet and also loves to ride bikes and cars.

-Shammi Kapoor met Geeta Bali in 1955 on the sets of 'Rangeen Raaten' in which she had a guest appearance. They married just four months after meeting each other.

-The veteran actor Shammi Kapoor also seen opposite Saira Banu in her debut film Junglee in 1961 and romanced her in Bluff Master, went on to play her father a decade later in Zameer in 1974. Not only this, he also played fifteen years younger Amitabh Bachchan’s father in Parvarish.
