Bollywood actress Rekha is an epitome of beauty. She is celebrating her 66th birthday today. Rekha was born on October 10, 1954, in Chennai and took her first step into the world of acting from Tamil film Rangula Ratnam in 1966 as a child artist. After that, in 1970, she started her career in Bollywood with the film Sawan Bhadas and in her 50-year film career, Rekha has acted in more than 180 films. You must have seen Rekha in Umrao Jaan, Silsila, Suhag, Mr. Natwarlal, Muqadarr Ka Sikandar, Khoon Bhari Mang, and this film is included in the hits of her career.

Rekha had won Filmfare Award for Best Actress thrice and supporting artist award twice. She was honored with the National Film Award in the best actress category for her performance in the film Umrao Jaan. She was conferred with the Padma Shri in 2010. Talking about Rekha's love life, Rekha has once told her in an interview that "she loves Amitabh Bachchan very much." It is said that Rekha talks about Amitabh Bachchan only with friends, but two years after the 1982 Coolie tragedy, Rekha spoke openly about the relationship between the two. In the meantime, Rekha had supported Amitabh's decision that he remained silent about his relationship. During that time, Rekha said, "He did it to protect his image, family, children, which is a very good thing. He doesn't care about what the public thinks about it.  We love each other, I don't care what anyone thinks about it".

During that time, Rekha said, "If he would have done it in front of me, I would have been devastated but whatever he said in public, in front of media I don't care about it at all. People may call him a man who has many affairs, Yet Mr. Bachchan is a short-tempered man. He doesn't want to hurt anyone. So why would he hurt his wife? As long as I'm with that person, I don't care." Well, she had revealed many more things but at the moment we wish the prettiest actress of the Bollywood industry a rocking birthday.
